Pre-Kindergarten

Program Hours of Care: 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Full Day), 7:30-12:30 (Half Day)*

This program builds off of our preschool program, and continues to foster children’s social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive growth. In this group catered to 4-year-olds, we cover language arts, early literacy and numerical skills, as well as natural science and creative arts. Creative arts activities include painting, clay modeling, drawing, cutting and gluing, just to name a few. Story times, including reading from the Bible, prayer, poetry, music and movement are all part of the daily program. Free play activities offer opportunities for social learning and expression through complex play, and we also provide a robust Enrichment program in our afternoon that delves even deeper into social studies and sciences. Age appropriate field trips are planned to enhance our curriculum. Play continues to be an important part of our children’s learning foundation, and we take the opportunity in this program to build even further by introducing key early learning cognitive tools. It is a privilege every day to walk alongside these children as they learn something new every day! Children must be 4 years old by August 31 to Register for Pre-K.
